Vowel Team Printables

Vowel teams are two vowels that are found next to eachother in a word.  Generally, the rule is that the first vowel gets to say it’s name. Or, when two vowels go a walking, the first one does the talking.  Teaching students to recognize common sound and spelling patterns will help them master key reading skills.

The free vowel team charts on this page are perfect for introducing students to common vowel teams. Alternatively, they can be printed as flashcards for quick review.

Thank you so very much. I prepare teaching material for a school in Peru in a rural area where education is poor. Your posters are simple and easy for the children to understand and relate to. Thank you again.

Do you have the vowel team charts with word lists for all the vowel teams? I like the charts with pictures and a few words for display, but would love to have the word charts as well.
